Pierre Chapo Cherry R08 Sideboard
Rectangular with two frieze drawers over pair of
doors.
Height 32 1/2 inches, width 6 feet,
depth 20 1/2 inches.
Pierre Chapo (1927-1987) was an architect and
furniture designer working from workshops in Clamart
and Paris. His finely crafted pieces reflect a strong
commitment to construction and form revealing the
natural beauty of each piece. The joins are visible in
the tradition of mid-century designers.

 

R08 sideboard designed by Pierre Chapo in 1969. This piece has been manufactured in 1979 with solid elm directly ordered by Galerie Chapo, 14 Boulevard de l’hôpital, 75005 Paris. Original invoice from 2th august 1979 provided.
