A rare and extraordinary pair of eared armchairs by modernist master Gio Ponti, in polished walnut with white bouclé upholstery. The chairs’ striking filiform armature —a continuous ribbon that flows from the tapered legs through the sculptural wings and along the modeled, rising armrests — waxes and wanes in a symphony of swooping lines.

Fully and sensitively restored and reupholstered.
