Rare and striking set of three early square geometric nesting tables by Italian tastemaker Marco Zanini, co-founder with Ettore Sottsass of the Memphis Milano Group. In electric blue enameled steel, crowned by a chromed railing. With an asymmetrical Art Deco severity in a Fisher Price palette, these stunning postmodern tables are at once minimalist, wildly playful, and wholly unique. The set-up and depth can be changed at will: the tables can rest flush inside each other or be staggered outwards as much or as little as desired.
