An exquisite and important pair of sconces by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte. Large conical shades with a delicately beveled edge, in satin glass, are supported by elegant trident mounts in polished brass, topped by three elongated, rounded prongs and cleaved by a daring cut-out. The mounts cradle an exceptional three-dimensional triangular finial with rounded edges in remarkable, thick crystal. Models of perfectly calibrated grace and impeccable craftsmanship, these sconces are among Max Ingrand’s greatest works.
