An important set of four rare and exquisite sconces by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte. Large conical shades in satin glass with a delicately beveled edge are supported by elegant trident mounts with three rounded prongs in polished brass. The mounts culminate in an exceptional rounded, elongated, and deeply beveled finial in remarkable thick crystal. A model of perfectly calibrated grace and impeccable craftsmanship, these sconces are among Max Ingrand’s greatest works.
